How long it takes to reach the entry level of one brand new skill? I started to learn microphotography late 2020 and as was shared in the post last summer, it was not satisfying. However it began to change rapidly that after one year I am confident enough to share with you more interesting and detailed small worlds of the ferns.

对于完全不了解的技能，需要多长时间入门？2020年底我开始学习显微摄影，去年夏天分享过一篇，但不太满意。然而一年后有了质的变化，现在我满怀自信地和大家分享更加有趣和细致的蕨类植物的微观世界。

江南卷柏

-Selaginella moellendorffii-

Leaves along the stem are smaller than those on sides. Both have obvious transparent and teethed margin.

沿着茎的叶片比两边的小。两者都有明显的带齿的透明边缘。

The leaves turn red in autumn and appears brownish red under microscope.

秋天叶片变红，在显微镜下呈砖红色。

伏地卷柏

-Selaginella nipponica-

4 creamy megaspores(0.2mm) in a triangle sporangium and the "Y" shape on it indicates how the 4 split.More than 100 orange microspores in a purse. 

4个乳黄色的大孢子（0.2mm）组成一个三角形的孢子囊，上面的“Y”形表明了它们的分裂方式。100多个橙色的小孢子被装在一个手提袋里。

华东阴地蕨

-Botrychium japonicum-

The pure white spores looks very mysterious that they are actually grow in the soil instead of being on surface.Since it will be all dark that color is unnecessary. 

纯白色的孢子显得非常神秘。其实它们生长在土壤里而不是表面。因此颜色就有些多余了。

团扇蕨

-Crepidomanes minutum-

The involucre is tubelike and the leave is as thin as one layer of cells which is very sensitive to humidity.The light green lines are veins.

囊苞管状,叶片非常薄仅有一层细胞，对湿度很敏感。浅绿色的线条是叶脉。

芒萁

-Dicranopteris pedata-

The sporangium is relatively big that you could see it clearly without magnifying. The sorus do not has indusium.The back of the lamina is pale green

孢子囊相对较大，不需要放大就能看清。孢子囊群没有囊盖。叶背粉绿色。

光里白

-Diplopterygium laevissimum-

Even bigger sporangia than above and usually 2-5 each sorus, forming beatiful patterns.Still no indusium and pale green abaxially.

孢子囊比上一种更较大，每个孢子囊群通常2-5个，组合成好看的图案。同样没有囊盖且叶背粉绿色。

槐叶蘋

-Salvinia natans-

The floating fronds have hair on both sides and linear fronds in water serve as roots.

漂浮叶两面有毛，水中的线形叶起到根的作用。

粉叶蕨

-Pityrogramma calomelanos-

The sporangia are scattered and covered by snowy powder.As it is going mature,the color changes from light green,brownish red,dark brown and light again.

孢子囊分散着被粉雪包围着。随着它逐渐成熟，颜色由浅绿、砖红、深棕再变浅。
